In this episode of Maxima Talks we interview Jaap den Hartogh about how care for children with cancer has changed in the past decade, the needs of survivors and his ambitions for the future.
Jaap den Hartogh works for the Dutch Childhood Cancer Parent Organisation (Vereniging Kinderkanker Nederland) since September 2012 and recently also for the Prinses Maxima Center to improve the information for cancer survivors.  He coordinates the Dutch survivors network ‘VOX’. As a survivor representative he was board member of PanCare and involved in the Survivors Network of CCI Europe. When he was 11, he was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma. He studied theology and religious studies.
