Faith Saves & Condemns - Epistle to the Hebrews Part 24
The author explained that it is impossible to please God without faith. The Jewish believers should believe in God’s promises in Christ; otherwise, they will not please God. Despite the persecution and discrimination, the author expected the Jewish believers to continue in faith. No excuses. God would not be pleased with those who shrink back. Yet, the author encouraged them not to shrink back. Their faith should endure. The author defined what faith is; it is the assurance of the promises they hoped for and the proof of the promises not seen, both judgment and salvation. Noah was one example of a person of faith.
