Don't forget to check the chapters tab in your podcatcher. This is a thing we're doing now, so keep an eye open for those.
For the end of our THIRD YEAR (!!) doing the podcast - the first episode was released back in November of 2017 - we wanted to tackle the 1994 blockbuster Street Fighter The Movie. but we knew that we wouldn't be able to do it by ourselves, so we drafted in Z-Boi (aka ZackerTheHacker) to help us discuss this movie. And that's exactly what we did.
This movie has it all:

And that's exactly what we did.
This movie has it all:
- Raul Julia in the greatest role of his career - delivering the best line in the history of cinema
- Weird creepiness from both the antagonist AND the protagonist
- A hat stand with enough hats to see us through until doomsday
- A romantic subplot which was never there
- A blink-and-you'll-miss-it hadouken
- THE THOUSAND HAND SLAP!
- A stunt which goes horribly wrong, but they kept it in the movie
- A woman running around, holding a shoe
- Gozilla sound effects
- And a man, in a towel, holding a gun
I mean, what else could you ask for?
Make sure to check out the full show notes for more discussion on the points we raise, some extra meta-analysis, some out-of-context screen grabs from the movie, and some links to related things.
Are you a fan of Street Fighter The Movie? If so, what about it makes it fun to watch? What are your theories about the guy in the towel with the gun? Do you agree with our theory about Bison being the good-guy? What was with the lady holding a shoe? Which was your favourite M. Bison hat? Is it ok for Guile to have been as creepy as he was at the end of the movie? And why was there a cosplayers-at-a-con style freeze-frame at the end?
psst. we've actually done a bunch of these "goes to the movies" episodes. Check this page to see all of the released specials.
