For someone so used to caregiving and community, it's a particularly big change. But Eric is embracing it with calm perspective and an open mind. \nEric quotes Brené Brown in referring to, as opposed to a \"crisis,\" a \"midlife unraveling\" - a time for undoing many of the things that defined the most recent phase of life, and building something new. \nIt's just that in his case, he's not exactly sure where it will lead him, and what the journey will be like. He's keeping an open mind, not focusing on specific goals, and concentrating on just being in the moment.\nEric's new life in Montréal, Québec is all about sharing observations and forging new connections, in a new language and culture as well.
