The second is the belief that you don't need a community of faith. Jesus didn't think that way — he said I will build my church, and the lone ranger approach isn't freedom, it's a ceiling on your growth. The third is the belief that your life is primarily about your own happiness. You'll be surprised to discover that the harder you chase it, the more it retreats.\n\nThe most memorable experiences in most people's lives aren't the things they did for themselves.
