She shared how giving, prayer, and fasting are simple ways we can draw near to the father in the quiet place. Through the Lord’s Prayer, we were encouraged to come to God with honest, childlike faith, trusting that He already knows what we need. This message warmly invited us to come closer to God with humility, authenticity, and a heart that simply wants to be with Him.✍️ Notes Matthew 6:1-4 (NLT) “Watch out! Don’t do your good deeds publicly, to be admired by others, for you will lose the reward from your Father in heaven. When you give to someone in need, don’t do as the hypocrites do —blowing trumpets in the synagogues and streets to call attention to their acts of charity! I tell you the truth, they have received all the reward they will ever get. But when you give to someone in need, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing.  Give your gifts in private, and your father, who see.”Matthew 6:5-8 (NLT)But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you. “When you pray, don’t babble on and on as the Gentiles do. They think their prayers are answered merely by repeating their words again and again. Don’t be like them, for your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him.”Matthew 6:9-15 (KJV)Pray like this, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.  Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.  For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
