Total funding stands at $29.7 million. The company builds trapped-ion processors that are natively two-dimensional, holding ions with a static magnetic field through Penning micro-traps instead of the oscillating fields that confine every incumbent design to one-dimensional chains. In eighteen months it has grown from four people to eighteen, demonstrated a 3x3 array of nine individually controlled ions, the largest 2D trapped-ion array of its kind, and fabricated the chips behind it with Infineon. The capital funds hiring, research and chip fabrication toward hundreds of qubits on a single chip.\n\nQ: How much did ZuriQ raise? ZuriQ raised $25.5 million in seed funding announced July 28, 2026, taking total funding to $29.7 million including its $4.2 million pre-seed from January 2025.\n\nQ: Who invested in ZuriQ's seed round?
