Matthew Lamoureux's homily beautifully echoes two of the greatest spiritual messages of our time: trust in Divine Mercy and Our Lady's call in Medjugorje to conversion through prayer and perseverance.\nThe Gospel reminds us that God is the Sower, but the condition of the soil determines how fruitful His Word becomes. Divine Mercy teaches us that God never gives up on a soul. Even when someone seems far from Him; a child, spouse, friend, priest, or even ourselves, Jesus continues to sow His grace. God's mercy is patient. He waits. He pursues. He never stops calling a soul back to Himself.\nThis is why Fr. Matthew tells us not to try to \"fix\" people. Our role is to become fertile soil through prayer, sacrifice, Confession, the Eucharist, and acts of charity. Our prayers become the soil in which God's mercy can take root in the lives of those we love.\nReadings for July 12th.2026: https://bible.usccb.org/bible/readings/071226.cfm","thumbnail_url":"https://img.transistorcdn.com/RyS-C2ZLvo8KH5NqfI6NL8IYJ95DYB9GdIPXRzHWFC4/rs:fill:0:0:1/w:400/h:400/q:60/mb:500000/aHR0cHM6Ly9pbWct/dXBsb2FkLXByb2R1/Y3Rpb24udHJhbnNp/c3Rvci5mbS9zaG93/LzE3MzgyLzE2Mjc2/NTE3MjQtYXJ0d29y/ay5qcGc.webp","thumbnail_width":300,"thumbnail_height":300}
