Four years later, it would be personal happiness –in the form of meeting her Canadian wife– that would take her to Nova Scotia, where she fused her love of art with her business background to create Salt Spray Design. \n\nAnthea’s sculptures are each filled with personal meaning, and in her recent book, Soul Decor, she helps readers select the objects in their homes intentionally, so as to highlight who they are and not end up with a pretty home that could belong to anyone.\n\nWATCH on YouTube!\n\nREACH OUT:\nSend us your questions to: WhereWeLandPod@gmail.com.\n\nFOLLOW:\n*Follow WWL on IG: @wherewelandpod\n*Follow WWL on TikTok: @wherewelandpod\n*Follow Claudia on IG: @claudiavl8\n\nClick here for a list of immigration resources / organizations you can support.\n\nABOUT THE HOSTS:\nLuciana and Claudia Valdiviezo know what it’s like to move to the U.S. – twice. They were born in Peru and lived there for only a few years until their parents moved the family to the U.S. The sisters kept in touch with their roots, speaking Spanish at home and every Christmas when they visited Peru for the holidays. Then, when they were 12 and 11 respectively, the family moved back to Peru. Growing up both Peruvian and American during those formative years gave Luciana and Claudia a deep understanding of what it means to belong, and not belong, at the same time.\n\nThe sisters eventually moved back to the U.S. Luciana is a marketing professional living in Washington D.C. with her husband and two young children. Claudia is a writer living in New York City.","thumbnail_url":"https://img.transistorcdn.com/JGwDBS5zVKzBh2TT_ScJtPmYARRH2POGOenAN3T39GE/rs:fill:0:0:1/w:400/h:400/q:60/mb:500000/aHR0cHM6Ly9pbWct/dXBsb2FkLXByb2R1/Y3Rpb24udHJhbnNp/c3Rvci5mbS9jZjky/NDNhOTk3YzQ1OWQ2/NzEwNTc4YTYxODJm/ZWZhNS5wbmc.webp","thumbnail_width":300,"thumbnail_height":300}
