People in rural communities don’t have access to transportation that many of us in more urban areas take for granted. There aren’t as many bus routes, ride shares aren’t as available, and it’s not always easy to get to work or get to the mall or even to buy groceries. Dante thinks he’s come up with the solution, a transportation app called WeMovv that will incorporate all modes of transportation – ride shares, buses, trains, and even how far you want to walk or ride your bike – to find the best way for a user to get to where they need to go.\r\n\r\nBut this is the first time he’s pitched for capital. So can he explain the vision for his company well enough so that the investors want to take a ride with him?\r\n\r\n\r\nToday's investors are:\r\nKeith Daniel, Resilient Ventures\r\nRobbie Hardy, xElle Ventures\r\nDonald Thompson, Angel Investor and CEO of Walk West\r\nTim McLoughlin, Cofounders Capital\r\n\r\nStartup Stage is a production of Earfluence and hosted by Sharon Delaney McCloud.\r\n\r\nThank you to our show sponsors:\r\nWeWork\r\nInnovate Capital Law\r\nLenovo\r\nThe University Club\r\nFancy This Photography","thumbnail_url":"https://img.transistorcdn.com/SbBg9Dm6WBlOEuqMSOUn3KuvJm102M4UV0oRB5Ki4PU/rs:fill:0:0:1/w:400/h:400/q:60/mb:500000/aHR0cHM6Ly9pbWct/dXBsb2FkLXByb2R1/Y3Rpb24udHJhbnNp/c3Rvci5mbS9zaG93/LzkwODkvMTU4NTY4/NjcxMi1hcnR3b3Jr/LmpwZw.webp","thumbnail_width":300,"thumbnail_height":300}
