A good system is. And there is a real difference between those two things.\nThe goal needs to start with a why that actually holds up under pressure. Not a vague image of who you want to be, but something tied closely enough to your values that it can carry you through the parts where it stops feeling good. What actually looks like willpower in the people who seem to have it is usually just smart environmental design and a few well-placed habits that take the decision out of the moment entirely.\nThere is also something worth hearing about your future self, why good enough is sometimes the smarter standard, and what to do when the only move left is to make the next step smaller.\nSend your questions to richthoughtspoorjokes@gmail.com and subscribe for the final episode of the motivation series next week.\nRich Thoughts, Poor Jokes, is brought to you by Compass Coaching.
