Then the last call to prayer floats up from the city, the lamps go out one by one, and you are shown to a quiet room off a courtyard where a small fountain talks softly all night long.\nYou will hear water all night long, the signature sound of the palace: a narrow channel running, a small fountain close by, one deeper fountain falling far off, with a nightingale far down the valley and the hush of a warm summer night on the hill.\nThis is an extended sleep story of three and a half hours.
