They give you Ethernet and USB, and nothing more, and the same is true across most field hardware, including Phoenix Contact and Opto 22. When the electrical panel sits far from remote I/O, which is common in oil and gas, food and beverage, and chemical plants, that wired constraint becomes a productivity problem, because the panel may be a long walk or a tall climb from where you need to stand.\nVladimir Romanov, founder of Joltek and SolisPLC, frames this from experience.
