It was not a failure of effort. It was a description of the environment. In 2009, police in Milwaukee searched the home of a man named Vernon Seitz — a 62-year-old who had confessed to his psychiatrist that he killed a child in 1959 and had knowledge of another killing. When they searched the home, they found child pornography, files on missing children cases from the late 1980s and 1990s, and a missing person poster of Michael Dunahee. Alongside the poster: a map labeled \"Mill Stream Park,\" north of Victoria. Victoria Police were contacted.
