A hunter passing by saw the parrots and, wanting to capture them, spread a net and placed some fruit on it, thinking, “Perhaps some foolish parrot will come for the fruit and fall into the net.” After a while, the hunter woke up and saw the parrots singing, “The hunter is coming; he spreads a net, but we shall not go near it,” yet they were all caught in the net.
