That's Bananas!\"  She also has a passion for our aging seniors as they navigate difficult decisions late in life.  In this episode, Tanya Blixt talks about her life experiences have led to a life of serving.\nTanya is a Texas-based author publishing her debut book, the first in a children’s book series.  She is a lover of dogs and rescues any that come her way.  Currently, she has five dogs: Jack, Sugar, Cookie, Thumper, and Willie and two cats named Michi and Saki.  Tanya graduated from Denton (TX) High School and the University of North Texas, earning a Bachelors degree at UNT in Hotel & Restaurant Management.  After college, she worked in California at a country club.\nTanya currently works in the healthcare industry as Executive Patient Administrator for a 22 year old family-owned and operated in-home Senior care service based out of Denton. The organization specializes in 24-hour live-in as well as hourly care wherever their home might be located.\nTanya is making her debut as a children’s book author.  An avid volunteer in the community, she is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. She believes in the importance of kids smiling, laughing, and learning. With that in mind, and with this initial series of books, that is exactly what she hopes to deliver to readers.
