Here is how he uses it, and where he thinks it goes next.\n\nJean has been coming to the Pyramid Club since 2018 and a member for about a year and a half. He works as a real estate advisor with Source Real Estate alongside Martino Picarilo, and he co-founded Oakwood PMS, an AI property management platform built for landlords who manage their own buildings. The platform collects rent, handles maintenance requests, and routes a tenant's problem to whoever on the owner's team can fix it.\n\nThat kind of automation is where Jean thinks all of it is headed. His frame for AI is tools: people have built them across every civilization, and this one is no different except in how close it sits to us.\n\nCloseness is the part he keeps returning to. Jean and Vince trade notes on what that looks like day to day, from smart lights and voice assistants at home, to Vince building himself a voice to text app, to the meetings where the note takers now outnumber the people. For Jean the payoff is measurable. He puts the savings at three to five hours a day, most of it in the MLS, where analyzing a multifamily property used to mean hours of manual work and now means setting the guardrails and letting the tool run the math.\n\nThose hours are what he calls better than time travel. As a co-founder, an advisor and an investor, he can be in several rooms at the same time, including the ones he never walks into. He is also candid that the habit cuts both ways, and that family and friends notice he is always working.\n\nThe conversation closes on where this leaves everyone else. Jean's read is that AI takes the repetitive...","thumbnail_url":"https://img.transistorcdn.com/7zpDIN0cDjQT4oOFLA2IVP7-TtS6tmEt5ulDpWznvv8/rs:fill:0:0:1/w:400/h:400/q:60/mb:500000/aHR0cHM6Ly9pbWct/dXBsb2FkLXByb2R1/Y3Rpb24udHJhbnNp/c3Rvci5mbS8xYTIz/MTc4NmY2YWE3YmFi/YTk3ZWE5ZGY2Yjcz/ZGMwYS5qcGc.webp","thumbnail_width":300,"thumbnail_height":300}
