I am an alcoholic & an addict, when I’m recording this I’ve been sober for almost 3 years. \nOn this podcast I will use the Access Consciousness®️ tools & also have raw, vulnerable conversations with some amazing guests.\nIn the beginning of my journey of sobriety I could only see & judge my addiction as a weakness. It has not been an easy path to walk on since then but with the help of these amazing tools I can today acknowledge addiction to be one of my greatest strengths.\n*\nAlcohol was my backdoor, my escape, my way out whenever life got too intense. And the thought of having no alcohol at all in my life terrified me. \nI really desired to change it, I just didn’t think I could. I couldn’t see how I could get through it. I wanted to be done with it, I wanted to be healed from addiction & go back to being a nice guy that everybody likes. \nBut what I learned in the process was that it’s not about being “done”, it’s about allowing your life to be an on-going process of healing. What if there was no finish line?\nIn my exploration I have had many dark days. Days filled with anxiety, panic, depression, even suicidal thoughts.
