To lead by example, Dr. Hoffmann engages in regular physical activity, such as kayaking, swimming, biking, and marathon running. His accomplishments include completing the Ironman Triathlon 70.3 in 2010, being appointed to the US Marathon Kayak Team in 2003, and participating in a variety of full and ultra-marathons.
