In this episode, Dave shares how it all began in the late 1990s with founder Ryan Mason bringing old friends back together through basketball and flag football tournaments. He also explains how it became a 501(c)(3) in 2010 with a mission to connect neighbors across the Parkway. The conversation covers the Easter egg hunt at West Roxbury High, the Parkway Cup golf tournament at George Wright, Legs, Kegs & Eggs, senior programming in partnership with Ethos, and the scholarship and holiday events the group hopes to bring back. Dave also shares the plans for this year’s Trick or Treat on Centre Street, set for Halloween from the Hastings Street lot. Danielle closes with a spooky season real estate tip on stigmatized properties under Massachusetts law. From tournaments to trick or treating, this episode celebrates the volunteers and generosity that make West Roxbury feel like home.\nFollow our host, Danielle O'Brien\nfb: https://www.facebook.com/danielle.m.obrien\ninsta: https://www.instagram.com/danielle.m.obrien/\nFollow our guest, Parkway in Motion\nhttps://parkwayinmotion.org/\nfb: @parkwayinmotionpage\ninsta: @parkwayinmotion\nFollow our brokerage, Parkway Real Estate\nhttp://parkway.realestate\nparkwayrellc@gmail.com\n857-400-9078\n\nfb: https://www.facebook.com/parkwayRE/\ninsta: @parkwayrealestate","thumbnail_url":"https://img.transistorcdn.com/2AVBLYyWTCclbi9OuxsFUL9TIBunHhKcWFHiyoK1S_w/rs:fill:0:0:1/w:400/h:400/q:60/mb:500000/aHR0cHM6Ly9pbWct/dXBsb2FkLXByb2R1/Y3Rpb24udHJhbnNp/c3Rvci5mbS8zOTJj/NTE4NmE4MTM1NzE0/ZTJjNjA2OWUwOWZj/MDg0Yy5wbmc.webp","thumbnail_width":300,"thumbnail_height":300}
