He is a Professor in the Department of Surgery, in the Division of Orthopaedic Trauma. His active clinical practice is that of orthopaedic trauma and he is extremely active in teaching undergraduate, and post graduate medicine. He has been involved in the Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship in Calgary, with nearly 50 International Fellows under his tutelage.
