I think he should be a lot more famous for his novels, such as the topic of today's episode: Tarr, first published in 1918 (rushed as Lewis was afraid that he would be killed in WWI and fail to leave behind a novel) and rerelased with significant revisions in 1928. It is aggressively 20th-century Modernist (untranslated foreign languages, dense prose, deeply allusive, bleak, bitter) and screamingly funny.\nCapitalisimo couldn't make it to this episode, but never fear!
