The reason - the forthcoming FIFA World Cup in 2030, which Morocco is co-hosting alongside Portugal and Spain. Despite being informed by the International Coalition - IAWPC that Morocco is in clear breach of all recognised and acceptable standards of civilised behaviour in relation to the humane treatment, welfare and protection of dogs, as well as in clear breach of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child., FIFA has refused to comment or take action.
