We kicked off a new series by asking a simple but important question: **Is it shame or is it conviction?**\nThere are two voices competing for our attention. The Holy Spirit speaks to lead us closer to Jesus, while the enemy wants to keep us trapped in guilt and shame.\nThe good news is this: **if you've trusted in Jesus, there is no shame for you.** Romans reminds us that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved and will never be put to shame. When we repent and bring our sin to Christ, He forgives us. We don't have to keep carrying what He's already taken away.\nConviction and shame are not the same thing. Conviction points us toward Jesus and repentance. Shame keeps pointing us back to our past and tells us we'll never be enough. That's not the voice of God—that's the voice of the enemy.\nSo the challenge this week is simple: **stop listening to the enemy.** If there's something you've already confessed and surrendered to Jesus, don't keep carrying it. Let the Holy Spirit remind you that you are forgiven, and don't allow shame to have the final word over your life.\nThanks for listening, and we'll see you next week as we continue our series on learning to recognize God's voice.","thumbnail_url":"https://img.transistorcdn.com/ZaLbXMY4cHV1BTVToI8aOCwighVo04VQMrO1_wdoigM/rs:fill:0:0:1/w:400/h:400/q:60/mb:500000/aHR0cHM6Ly9pbWct/dXBsb2FkLXByb2R1/Y3Rpb24udHJhbnNp/c3Rvci5mbS81ZjY1/YjljY2U0YjQ4ZTcx/Njc1NzI0NWE4ZTMw/MjMzMy5QTkc.webp","thumbnail_width":300,"thumbnail_height":300}
