Deeply committed to addressing global warming challenges facing our environment, Joshua’s passion for benefiting all living beings on Earth drives his innovative pursuits. As the inventor of Builderscrete solutions, an eco-friendly building material, he has harnessed the potential of sawdust, a byproduct of sawmills, transforming it into a thermally insulative, fire-retardant solution for sustainable construction. Joshua has been tirelessly working on this new revolutionary material to achieve broad acceptance among builders and construction companies, paving the way for a more resilient and eco-conscious future for everyone. Forests absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and convert them into forest biomass. But when a tree is harvested, only about 50% of the tree becomes lumber. The US Sawmill industry alone produces about 34 million tons of sawdust that can be used in a variety of ways but most of them release the carbon dioxide back into the atmosphere. How can we sequester that Carbon in long-lasting building products? The solution is Builderscrete. The Builderscrete mixes are a patented cost-effective material that can be cast in molds, extruded, blown in, 3-D printed, and used to create all types of thermally insulative and fire-retardant building components. A primary ingredient of the Buliderscrete mixes is sawdust, a leftover castaway waste product of the lumber industry. Builderscrete components are easier to produce and has a higher insulation value compared to traditional masonry bricks, blocks, and panels. It is the only structural (and ornamental) brick, block, or panel product that traps carbon, which would normally end up as greenhouse gases in our atmosphere. Nails, screws, and other fasteners can be used on Builderscrete components just like lumber.
