But"},{"startTime":258.06,"endTime":263.28,"body":"it also means that if I don't"},{"startTime":258.06,"endTime":263.28,"body":"succeed there, my family is"},{"startTime":263.28,"endTime":266.52,"body":"going to suffer, right? If I"},{"startTime":263.28,"endTime":266.52,"body":"don't succeed, and I've"},{"startTime":266.52,"endTime":270.57,"body":"sacrificed time away from my"},{"startTime":266.52,"endTime":270.57,"body":"family, then I'm going to feel"},{"startTime":270.57,"endTime":275.67,"body":"terrible about that. The thing about the"},{"startTime":281.37,"endTime":284.85,"body":"mental health piece is that a"},{"startTime":281.37,"endTime":284.85,"body":"lot of this is outside of our"},{"startTime":284.85,"endTime":289.71,"body":"control, right? Like we talk"},{"startTime":284.85,"endTime":289.71,"body":"about mindset all the time in my"},{"startTime":289.71,"endTime":295.59,"body":"friend groups, and it's a great"},{"startTime":289.71,"endTime":295.59,"body":"ideal, but putting that into"},{"startTime":295.59,"endTime":298.17,"body":"practice is a completely"},{"startTime":295.59,"endTime":298.17,"body":"different topic."},{"startTime":299.23,"endTime":303.46,"body":"So Understanding that when these"},{"startTime":299.23,"endTime":303.46,"body":"things happen, even when you"},{"startTime":303.46,"endTime":307.54,"body":"initiate them, you're going to"},{"startTime":303.46,"endTime":307.54,"body":"want to have some tools in place"},{"startTime":308.08,"endTime":314.2,"body":"to be able to navigate them for"},{"startTime":308.08,"endTime":314.2,"body":"your mental health's sake. When you are"},{"startTime":346.93,"endTime":353.95,"body":"navigating radical change, there"},{"startTime":353.95,"endTime":357.31,"body":"are four things that I want to"},{"startTime":353.95,"endTime":357.31,"body":"spend a little more time talking"},{"startTime":357.31,"endTime":361.36,"body":"about today. I tend to be a"},{"startTime":374.74,"endTime":378.46,"body":"planner. So I'm going to think"},{"startTime":378.46,"endTime":381.97,"body":"things through try to figure out"},{"startTime":378.46,"endTime":381.97,"body":"all of the angles, I'm"},{"startTime":381.97,"endTime":388.66,"body":"considering all of the key"},{"startTime":381.97,"endTime":388.66,"body":"players, the stakeholders. Call it a"},{"startTime":392.14,"endTime":397.09,"body":"control thing. Sure that makes"},{"startTime":397.09,"endTime":401.53,"body":"sense. But I advocate making a"},{"startTime":397.09,"endTime":401.53,"body":"plan, even when you know that"},{"startTime":401.53,"endTime":404.11,"body":"there are going to be"},{"startTime":401.53,"endTime":404.11,"body":"uncontrollables. Because I think"},{"startTime":404.11,"endTime":408.46,"body":"that there should be some"},{"startTime":404.11,"endTime":408.46,"body":"responsibility around the"},{"startTime":408.46,"endTime":413.86,"body":"decisions you're making. I also know"},{"startTime":475.17,"endTime":480.45,"body":"that there are those who just"},{"startTime":480.45,"endTime":485.43,"body":"kind of they freeze up, they"},{"startTime":480.45,"endTime":485.43,"body":"just kind of get stuck as"},{"startTime":485.43,"endTime":489.09,"body":"they're navigating through"},{"startTime":485.43,"endTime":489.09,"body":"something new and different. So"},{"startTime":489.45,"endTime":493.32,"body":"understand where your power base"},{"startTime":489.45,"endTime":493.32,"body":"is. What does that mean? That"},{"startTime":493.32,"endTime":498.09,"body":"means that you've got to have"},{"startTime":493.32,"endTime":498.09,"body":"some things in place. And there is no body"},{"startTime":578.99,"endTime":584.69,"body":"asking you to do anything. And they've"},{"startTime":668.68,"endTime":674.17,"body":"gotten some kind of feedback"},{"startTime":668.68,"endTime":674.17,"body":"that this is a talent that they"},{"startTime":674.17,"endTime":676.63,"body":"should take on the road, so to"},{"startTime":674.17,"endTime":676.63,"body":"speak, or take to the"},{"startTime":676.63,"endTime":683.56,"body":"marketplace. And so they go, and"},{"startTime":676.63,"endTime":683.56,"body":"they are good at a thing, they"},{"startTime":683.56,"endTime":688.78,"body":"have a talent, but that does not"},{"startTime":683.56,"endTime":688.78,"body":"translate 100% into owning a"},{"startTime":688.78,"endTime":694.39,"body":"business. As a matter of fact,"},{"startTime":688.78,"endTime":694.39,"body":"what typically happens in a"},{"startTime":694.39,"endTime":699.52,"body":"small business is that the small"},{"startTime":694.39,"endTime":699.52,"body":"business owner oriented towards"},{"startTime":699.52,"endTime":702.82,"body":"the operational side of their"},{"startTime":699.52,"endTime":702.82,"body":"business, so they make the"},{"startTime":702.82,"endTime":706.78,"body":"thing, they create the thing."},{"startTime":702.82,"endTime":706.78,"body":"But there are other sides of"},{"startTime":706.78,"endTime":710.35,"body":"that company that are needed,"},{"startTime":706.78,"endTime":710.35,"body":"there is marketing, the thing,"},{"startTime":710.68,"endTime":716.38,"body":"there is handling the finances"},{"startTime":710.68,"endTime":716.38,"body":"of that enterprise. So they walk"},{"startTime":716.38,"endTime":723.04,"body":"out, and they're very confident"},{"startTime":716.38,"endTime":723.04,"body":"in what they can do, and don't"},{"startTime":723.04,"endTime":728.29,"body":"necessarily account for all of"},{"startTime":723.04,"endTime":728.29,"body":"the other areas that they cannot"},{"startTime":728.29,"endTime":733.84,"body":"do.
