Hey Party People!
Join me for the next episode where we meet my dear friend Kendra!
"Kendra is first and foremost a mom of four boys who loves spending time with family, watching her kids play sports, and anything cozy. Professionally, she is an occupational therapist, educator, and assistant professor. She has worked in pediatrics and school based practice for most of her OT career and has been an OT practitioner since 2012, first as a COTA, then as an OTR, and later completing her post professional doctorate. She is currently midway through Ayres Sensory Integration training and has strong interests in sensory integration, nervous system regulation, trauma informed care, and the neuro piece behind sensory processing and everyday functioning. More recently, she has also become interested in community based and population health approaches within occupational therapy. She is also very open about living with ADHD and navigating the world with a brain that is probably a little neurospicy in more ways than one."
