Sabah Drabu is the Co-Founder and CEO of CookinGenie which is a marketplace platform for connecting personal chefs with consumers for an in-home dining experience.
She and her partner founded the business in 2019 as they saw an opportunity to create great in-home dining experiences while making it easy for consumers. They appear to have first mover advantages in this space with presence in most of the larger cities in Ohio & Kentucky but also rapidly expanding in Florida and the Washington DC metro area.
She shares the importance of getting the tech right especially with a platform business and building a personal presence in new markets. They are launching a newly upgraded app soon to assist with connecting consumers with the chefs.
