Cyber warfare is getting serious.

In 2017, Jersey's Government was getting hit by around 500 high-level cyber attacks every day, while some island entities were getting hit by 4,000 or more... But hackers and digi-criminals have only got stronger since then.

Last month, Ireland's health service fell victim to an international ransomware attack described as its "most significant" to date, while the largest petroleum pipeline in the US was reportedly breached as a result of a single leaked password.

As the threat heightens, Jersey is preparing itself - by setting up a fourth emergency service.
