Shawn spent 15 years in prison for armed robbery. He was released on January 26, 2016. Shawn is passionate about being a good man and father. In this first of a four-part series, he interviews his daughter. The emotions ran high, the content was rich and thought insightful to a lifestyle that most will never experience. Both he and his daughter Ashya have traveled a rough road, however, they are filled with joy and success now. Ashya is a freshman at VCU University and maintains a 4.0 GPA and is on the Dean's list! Shawn runs a very successful printing and graphic art company in Southern Virginia.
