Given the huge and increasing incidence of prostate cancer worldwide, enhancing the efficacy, safety and quality of prostate radiation therapy for men is crucial.
In this episode, Dr. Alison Tree, a clinical consultant oncologist who specializes in radiotherapy and chemotherapy for prostate cancer at the Royal Marsden Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, shares the different tools in her toolbox she uses to treat prostate patients. She also discusses why she chose the profession and the rationale around her belief that the future of prostate RT lies in fewer hospital visits, higher doses, and, with growing evidence, better patient experience.
