O’Connor has helped people in need all over the globe through Habitat for Humanity, Providence College’s Father Smith Fellowship, and Global Service Learning courses through PC's Feinstein Institute for Public Service, with the help of international travel grants from Santander Bank. . O’Connor is currently working with Habitat for Humanity and the International Institute of Rhode Island while earning his master’s degree in theology and ministry at Boston College.
