People, Planet, Progress

For today’s 4-8-21 Climate Report, we went deep on a couple of topics:

First, we cover the challenges that the health care industry faces during the time of Covid, and how that has impacted their efforts to be more sustainable, when we know that single-use plastics dominate hospital settings in order to maintain sterile environments. Good change is still happening.

Next we delve into a sobering new study that shows marine life is fleeing the equatorial regions of the ocean due to high temperatures, impacting the web of life and fish flows underwater, as well as harming the developing nations of the equatorial region that reply on marine life for food, revenue, and tourism.

Last, we cover the latest report that says we set a new global record for concentrations of CO2 in the atmosphere in March 2021…besting the previous record from May 2020. We will likely set a new record later this year.

Please listen and share!
