Weaver & Loom

Rachael Skrobot comes on to discuss "cancel culture" and the hypocrisy and double standard that many employ to support their cancel culture stance.

Show Notes

On today's show my wife, Rachael Skrobot, joins me to talk about a non-controversial post that seems to be far more controversial.

When Rachael posted a reel about canceling cancel culture and giving space saying, "hey, we can disagree and still be friends, we don't have to cancel one another," of course people came running to disagree and saying, "but no we should totally cancel some people" (which is fine because that was the point of the post, we can disagree) But you'd at least think that we could agree on the fact that we can disagree on important topics.

Apparently the double standard and self defeating argument of cancel culture is lost on some...

Rachael and I talk through cancel culture, the redefinition of racism, healthy boundaries, and how to win the culture war against cancel culture.

What is Weaver & Loom?

In Weaver and Loom, we unravel the wonderment of the spiritual, natural, fate, and the divine through mythic and sacred story, biblical parables, ancient fables, and Christ-haunted narratives--getting lost in the mysteries of the our human creation so that we might grope our way to Christ and become illuminated in midsts of the mundane and sufferings of life.
