Pastor Raphael Kajjubi of King Jesus Church in Busega, Uganda shares how they are caring for the most under-served population in their community, the deaf and blind, through the Busega School for the Deaf and Blind and their partnership with Lifeline's (un)adopted ministry.
Raphael Kajjubi is the pastor of King Jesus Church in Busega, Uganda. He and his wife, Alan, began their ministry with the vision to make Christ known in a prominently Muslim community. They found that the deaf and blind were one of the most under-served populations in the community. In partnership with Lifeline’s (un)adopted ministry, Pastor Raphael leads the Busega Community School for the Blind and Deaf- where students hear the gospel of Jesus Christ and are equipped with sign language, job skills, discipleship, and more.
Herbie Newell is the President & Executive Director of Lifeline Children’s Services and its ministry arms.
