विवेकोदयः

संस्कृतपुरे गौतमनामा कश्चन दरिद्रः कृषकः तर्कनामानं वणिजं ऋणं प्रार्थयते । किन्तु वणिक् निराकरोति । कथञ्चिदपि तर्कात् ऋणं स्वीकरणीयमेव इति विचिन्त्य केनचित् उपायेन पञ्चाशत् रूप्यकाणि स्वीकृतानि गौतमेन । यदा धनं प्राप्तं तदा गौतमः उच्चैः हसित्वा पञ्चविंशतिं रूप्यकाणि प्रत्यर्पयन् अवदत् 'भवन्तं पाठयितुम् अहम् एवम् अभिनयं कृतवान् । अवशिष्टं पञ्चविंशतिं रूप्यकाणि ऋणरूपेण दत्तम् इति भावयतु' इति । एतेन प्रसङ्गेन तर्कः अतीव लज्जितः ।

In the city of Samskritapura, a poor farmer named Gautama requested a loan from a merchant named Tarka, who refused. Determined, Gautama cleverly secured fifty coins through an ingenious method. Upon receiving the money, he laughed aloud, returned twenty-five coins, and said, "I staged this act to teach you a lesson. Consider the remaining twenty-five coins as a loan". Ashamed, Tarka realized the deeper message behind Gautama’s actions.

सम्भाषणसन्देशः इति संस्कृतमासिकपत्रिका (https://sambhashanasandesha.in) । एतस्यां पत्रिकायां प्रकाशिताः लेखाः, कथाः, बालकथाः, वार्ताः इत्यादिकं सर्वम् अपि सरलसंस्कृतेन एव प्रकाश्यते । तत्रत्याः “बालमोदिनी”नामिकाः बालकथाः अत्र प्रसार्यन्ते । अतः अस्याः शृङ्खलायाः नाम अपि “बालमोदिनी” एव । लघु गात्रं, सरला भाषा च कथानां विशेषः । प्रत्येकं कथा काञ्चित् नीतिं बोधयति । बालकथाः आबालवृद्धं सर्वेषां प्रियाः । संस्कृतेन ताः श्रोतुम् उपलब्धाः भवन्तु इति एषः प्रयत्नः श्रोतृभ्यः अवश्यं रोचेत इति विश्वासः । संस्कृतक्षेत्रे संस्कृतेन पॉड्कास्ट् क्रियमाणाः एताः प्रप्रथमाः कथाः इति सगौरवम् उद्घोष्यते ।
