100 Greatest Inventions

In this episode we look at the history of the photo, from the camera obscura to the developments of Daguerreotype and Henry Fox Talbot's work and its early use in the Crimean and American Civil War. From there we see the Kodak Camera democratising the photo. The 20th century sees more and better cameras and lenses developed, colour photography. We end our look in the late 20th century which sees the development of the photo we all know today: the digital photo.
