Hector Miray welcomes FaithCon leaders Chantay Hadley and Micante James to the Faith & Fandom Podcast to talk about building Christ-centered community in convention spaces, supporting faith-based creators, and serving fans through practical outreach. They share how FaithCon grew from an online writers conference into a larger movement focused on Christ-centered media, creator connections, convention ministry, and their unique “con survival kits” filled with practical supplies and localized emergency information. The conversation also explores FaithCon’s ambassador program, its long-term vision for respite spaces at conventions, the importance of quality Christian storytelling, and what they hope to see happen in faith-based media in the years ahead. And, naturally, things eventually turn toward Dragon Con, One Piece, Jean Grey, and other wonderfully geeky territory.
