Health Her Way

From the first positive test to the realities of the fourth trimester, pregnancy and postpartum are full of surprises no one can fully prepare for.
Some women get "the glow"—others get morning sickness and sleepless nights.
Let's unpack the changes, the challenges, and how realistic expectations can make the journey feel a little less overwhelming.

In this episode of Health Her Way, hosts Meredith Cunningham and Brooklyn Elbert welcome back Dr. Mia Mowzoon to talk about what women experience during pregnancy and postpartum. From physical and hormonal changes to emotional shifts and recovery, Dr. Mowzoon helps break down what’s normal, when to ask for help, and how to show yourself grace through this season of life.
