Amos asks Yahweh to not send the locusts and fire, which Yahweh relents about, but then uses the analogy of a plumb line next to a wall to show that justice has to take place. When a false prophet tells Amos to stop spreading information about the nation's demise, Amos describes how he was told to go prophecy God's word, then tells Amaziah how he and his family will also suffer. Read from the World English Bible.
