The Magnificast

Last week we talked about Christians and communist parties. This week we decided to take a look at how Christians related to the Socialist Party of America in the early 20th century. We read Dan McKanan's article "The Implicit Religion of Radicalism: Socialist Party Theology, 1900–1934" to get an idea of what kind of theology emerged from the Socialist Party.

We also descended into the bunker of Christian Preppers. Please send us your iTunes reviews.

What is The Magnificast?

A weekly podcast about Christianity and leftist politics. The Magnificast is hosted by Dean Dettloff and Matt Bernico. Each week's episode focuses on a unique or under-realized aspect of territory between Christianity and politics that no one taught you about in sunday school.
