After a mistake by Joan Garcia saw Oviedo take a 1-0 lead into the break, Hansi Flick responded proactively, bringing Frenkie De Jong on at halftime. He completely transformed Barca’s midfield and helped them take control of the game.
Barca hit back through a goal by Eric Garcia and a terrific header by Robert Lewandowski, set up by De Jong, before Ronald Araujo secured the 3 points in the 88th minute with an assist from Marcus Rashford off a corner.
