The Cross of Christ presents every person with a choice, to either embrace it as God’s magnificent power to save mankind, or to reject it as foolishness (‘sheer absurdity and folly’ - 1 Co 1:18, Amplified version). The gospel brings us to a ‘crossroad’ at which we must choose either God’s way or the way of the world. In this message we look at the underlying reasons why the ‘spirit of the world’ (1 Co 2:12) has always rejected the Cross of Christ and why the Christian must not only embrace the Cross in order to live, but must also choose daily to follow Jesus down the ‘Cross-road’.
