Change Your Mind: "I Can’t Be Vulnerable"

Staff Pastor Matt Croasmun, brings us the second installment in our Lenten series, "Change Your Mind: Embracing the Truth of God’s Goodness."

About the series:
Jesus invites us to “repent and believe the good news.” What does that mean for us this Lent, the historic season of reflection and devotion around the person of Jesus – his life, death, and resurrection? Repent can seem like such a judgmental word, yet the word simply means to change one’s mind, to have a whole life turning towards Jesus. What keeps us from that? Often, lies. Lies that the good news isn’t so good. That God isn’t so good. That we’re doomed not to be good. These lies drag us down and make change not just seem unattractive, but impossible. This Lent, we are going to tackle lies with the help of the Spirit and receive Jesus’ invitation to turn towards Him.
