Show Notes
Nan Simonsen is a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and author of Aging Powerfully: Accept Your Past and Take Control of Your Future.
In this episode, Nada sits down with Nan to discuss her many reinventions and the success she has found, and the lessons she has learned along the way. Nan has had many amazing careers simply by choosing to walk through doors that opened to her. As a young mother she was determined to have a career and quickly found her talents for sales and managing people made her a perfect fit for becoming a Tupperware representative. Those humble beginnings landed her at the top of the Tupperware franchise as a leading distributor for over 20 years. Even her husband left his job as an engineer to help run their now multi-million dollar company.
After selling their Tupperware business she decided to become a master gardener and created a botanical garden at her home. Her property was featured in many gardening magazines and part of garden tours. Through word of mouth, her budding landscape design business was born and flourished.
15 years later she retired from her second business and began to study and learn about nutrition. After coming to terms with a lifelong eating disorder and diving into classes, she decided to apply what she was learning and teach others. At 70 years old, Nan is tackling her third career, this time as a health coach and author. Her work is geared towards teaching people how to age P.O.W.E.R.F.U.L.L.Y. Tune in to learn how this acronym can radically change how you live and age.

What is LIBERTY ROAD with Nada Jones ?
Pursuing your future doesn’t end at 40, in fact, it may mark the beginning of knowing who you are, what you’re capable of and what you really want. But knowing what’s next and how to get there can be a challenge—especially when old narratives play on repeat. I’ve come to believe that the best way to understand your possibilities is in hearing from others—what they have done and how they have done it.
LIBERTY ROAD is here to share stories so that you can consider your possibilities, pursue your purpose and move into your future with intention.
