The departure date for our year of travel is QUICKLY approaching and we’ve left the “Excited Season” and moved into the “Stressful Season” of our trip. We don’t want this episode to come off like complaining as we know being able to go on this trip is an amazing privilege but we did want to share the reality of feeling stressed and overwhelmed.
We are fully aware that this big life change is something we chose, so the emotions we’re feeling are self-imposed. However, much like starting your own business, or growing your family, or moving across the country, etc, even if you’re making that choice those big life events can still be (and are!) hard.
This episode is a bit of an emotional check-in where Jason ACTUALLY has some emotions - gasp! 😱 After going on an emotional journey with both of us, we get into some nitty-gritty items like selling a portion of our stuff on eBay, getting ready for two garage sales, and of course creating a Plan B for the start of our trip if covid (Omicron) has other thoughts.
