see some of their unique problems that they're facing 00:08:13.040 --> 00:08:16.000 and that Paul's walking through with them 00:08:16.000 --> 00:08:19.440 so that they can be the body that God's everything that we've looked at 00:08:43.360 --> 00:08:48.840 is there's this problem that's happened within where there's been divisions in the church at Corinth 00:08:48.840 --> 00:08:51.620 as they're arguing over who they follow. 00:08:51.820 --> 00:08:54.060 Remember, some are like, well, I follow Paul. 00:08:54.320 --> 00:08:55.760 Some are like, I follow Cephas. 00:08:56.080 --> 00:08:57.700 Some, I follow Apollos. 00:08:57.860 --> 00:09:00.180 And there's others that say, I follow Christ, 00:09:00.280 --> 00:09:05.080 meaning like a higher sense of spirituality than others. 00:09:05.600 --> 00:09:08.300 So that's what we've been looking at largely over the last four weeks. 00:09:08.440 --> 00:09:11.780 Now, where we're going at over the next several weeks 00:09:11.780 00:10:42.540 And a kind that is not tolerated even among pagans 00:10:42.540 --> 00:10:46.360 For a man has his father's wife 00:10:46.360 --> 00:10:48.560 And you are arrogant 00:10:48.560 --> 00:10:51.600 Ought you not rather to mourn? 00:10:52.340 --> 00:10:56.580 Let him who has done this be removed from among you 00:10:56.580 --> 00:11:00.900 For though absent in body, I am present in thoughts, there's lots of ideas 00:11:32.400 --> 00:11:38.940 But there's very little consensus on what exactly the specific problem is 00:11:38.940 --> 00:11:43.400 Now, Paul begins, we know that this is dealing with sexual immorality 00:11:43.400 --> 00:11:48.240 And we could spend the next 10 weeks talking about sexual immorality 00:11:48.240 --> 00:11:54.300 But then he goes in to describe this a little bit more 00:11:54.300 --> 00:11:56.820 And what we see, basically what we can draw 00:11:56.820 --> 00:11:58.880 What I believe is happening 00:11:58.880 --> 00:12:01.260 Is that there
