The standing of Jesus as a priest after the order of Melchizedek is expounded on, including pointing out that Melchizedek was greater than Abraham and any priests born from him. There was need for another priest and a change in the law because it made nothing perfect. However, we have a better hope and through the unchangeable priesthood of Jesus who saves to the uttermost those who draw near to God. Read from the World English Bible.
