Lauren Bowling is a part-time blogger and full-time content marketing and social media specialist. After getting her degree in theater, she headed for New York City where she failed as an actor and went broke, but landed a sweet job on Wall Street which sparked her interest in personal finance. Since April 2012 she has been running her own blog geared toward financial education and empowerment for young women, aptly titled L Bee and the Moneytree.
