John 20:11-18 // Jonathan NeefJohn 20:11–18 records the deeply personal encounter between Mary Magdalene and the risen Lord. Overcome with grief outside the empty tomb, Mary mistakes jesus for the gardener until he speaks her name, revealing his victory over death. Jesus then sends her to declare his resurrection to the disciples, demonstrating how he transforms sorrow into hope and commissions his followers to share the gospel message. This sermon explores how jesus meets us in our sorrow and gives us a clear purpose.
